This vintage of Two Angels Sauvignon Blanc was hand sorted twice; once before de-stemming and once after. Then the wine went through extended cold fermentation (three weeks at 50F) to preserve the natural, vibrant fruit characteristics of the grape. Midway through fermentation, the wine was racked, resulting in a wine that displays a complex blend of melon, citrus blossom, fennel, and honeysuckle

· Winemakers, Amy Wesselman and David Autrey, both have philosophy degrees from Reed College in Portland · Intrigued with the wine industry while at school, both worked at several wineries to earn extra cash for college · All of the grapes are purchased. They recently planted about 5 acres of Pinot on property in Yamhill County
Westey wines are styled to be generous and mouth filling in a context of rich texture and acidity.

Winemaker Bob Varner makes Foxglove in a modern style that's meant to bring out the true terroir of an appellation (Edna Valley in Chardonnay and Paso Robles in Cabernet Sauvignon). He adds the same quality standards and attention to detail for Foxglove that he puts into every barrel of single vineyard Varner wine. Reminiscent of a pure, but rich Chablis, the wine forgoes malolactic fermentation, leaving it packed with natural acidity.

CMS Red is structured yet approachable with soft fruit flavors framed by subtle hints of oak. This Cabernet, Merlot, Syrah blend is a fantastic compliment to almost any food and is the perfect introduction to the enjoyment of red wine.

It pours a pale gold, and grapefruit, pineapple and fresh flower aromas leap from the glass. On the palate a crisp, fresh entry is balanced by succulent ripe fruit flavors of peach, grapefruit and quince, culminating in a fresh, lingering finish. It’s great with a variety of lighter dishes and cheeses – or just for sipping by starlight.

The 2007 growing season was a bit of a “nail biter” for Pinot Noir but in the end we couldn’t happier with the results. We had a cool wet Spring, a cool summer and a couple of scattered rains in late September, early October but this turned out to be just what our Pinot vines wanted to produce classic, complex Pinot Noir. The ’07 is very aromatic with notes of raspberry, Bing cherry, cranberry and baking spices with hints of rhubarb and mocha. On the palate it is fresh and ripe with more cherry, raspberry and spice and subtle notes of earth and mocha that unfolds in layers in the mouth. The finish lingers with flavors of strawberry, red berries and spice. This is a wine that should age very nicely.
